2011 Downtown Danville Farmers' Market May through October 2011 in downtown Danville at the Danville Public Library, 319 N. Vermilion St. For those interested in participating in this year's market, please call 217-443-3886 or email info@downtowndanville.org or click here for more information. This year Downtown Danville, Inc. will partner with the Danville Public Library to put on the farmers’ market, with the location moving to the Danville Public Library lot. We believe this will give us more room to grow as well as more accessibility for all those involved. Looking for somewhere to sell or buy produce, baked goods, crafts or holiday gift items after the farmers' market closes for the season? Summer Sounds is organized by Downtown Danville, Inc. and Danville AMBUCS and is sponsored by a number of remarkable local businesses and organizations. Downtown Danville's Mud Volleyball Tournament will return in September 2011! Downtown Danville Inc., Downtown Danville Rotary and Habitat for Humanity are planning another great day for their annual mud volleyball tournament. All proceeds are split between these non-profit and service organizations who work to give back to the community. Click here for a registration form and here for the official rules. Registration forms and payments are due by 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 to the DDI office, 149 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL. Checks should be made payable to DDI. The annualVermilion Co. Crimestoppers Car Show & Movie Nightwill take place in downtown Danville again this year.
